Key Takeaways
1. Your environment is not neutral – The energy in your home or office can keep you stuck in stress, scarcity, or disconnection—or support clarity, love, health, and opportunity.
2. Feng Shui is practical & modern – It’s about intentional design, flow, and energetics, not fear-based rules. Tiny, aligned changes can create big emotional and tangible shifts.
3. Clutter equals congestion – Blocked entryways, chaotic pantries, and stagnant corners can symbolically (and energetically) hold back money, creativity, and momentum.

You’re allowed to ask your home for support – Treating your home as a living partner in your life—thanking it, tending to it, and aligning it with your vision—amplifies your manifestations.

Anne Vryonides:

Welcome to Overcoming Anything, the podcast where we dive deep into stories of resilience, transformation, and growth. I'm your host, Anne Vryonides, and today we have an incredible guest who has learned to overcome energetic stagnation in the home, in the office, and she is an expert on moving. Stuck energy. So joining me today from down under in Brisbane, Australia is Kimberly Gallagher, a Feng shui expert who bridges the gap between traditional feng shui and modern living. She helps individuals and businesses around the world create calm, supportive, and abundant space as whether it's at home or at work. So welcome to the show.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Oh, it's so lovely to be here. What a lovely introduction. Yes, I am down under with a British accent. Thank you for having me.

Anne Vryonides:

Absolutely. Absolutely. So before we dive in, I always love to ask, so what's one quote or mantra that keeps you going during tough times?

Kimberly Gallagher:

Expect the unexpected. You never know. I've got goosebumps. I just thought I said that. You never know. Me too. You never know what's around the corner. And when you know, trusting life's pathway can be very hard and life has ebbs and flows and twists and turns. But I think if you can still believe that magical things can happen, then magical things do happen.

Anne Vryonides:

I love that. I love that. We are so honored to have you bringing your magic to the show today, so thank you. So welcome. So let's start at the beginning. For some of our listeners, they may not know exactly what Feng Shui is, so could you briefly explain what it is, the process and how it helps people?

Kimberly Gallagher:

Of course. And. I think it's important that I say that I wasn't brought up with fei. I don't even pronounce it properly. I think if you're from the east, you would pronounce it feng shui, but my sort of Midlands English accent, I over pronounce my vowel, so I say feng shui. Also, from a business point of view, it helps people find me by pronouncing the eni, but what I think is that I don't want the words. Feng shui to put people off because you can't pronounce it. So people go, oh, therefore it's just not for me. And I also want to say that I've not always been a particularly spiritual person, and I wouldn't say I'm massively spiritual now. I believe that everything has energy and we match energy around it. And that sort of is my belief system really is as I've got older, I've got more open to different ways of viewing the world. And lockdown was a huge changer for me. So, and I know many stories sort of started in lockdown and mine was a lockdown story. I was a teacher for 10 years. I taught. Equine science of all things. So horse biology, it was super niche. I loved it. I taught 16 to 18 year olds and I feel that they educated me maybe more than perhaps what I educated them. Um, and I, I loved it. And I'm unfortunately though I was made redundant in lockdown. The college went into administration. And I started like a wellness business literally in February, 2020. The timing could not have been worse, maybe better. As you say, expect the unexpected. You know, these, these twists and turns take you to different places in life. Yes. And. I was at home a lot, like many others around the world. My husband worked in construction, which in the UK was like the only industry that was allowed to go to work. So it was me, my daughter, he was eight at the time, and my dog at home, and I was struggling and I. Decided that, you know, the constant stream of media coming into the home, I needed to be really aware of what I was listening to. So I started my journey of podcasts and listening to podcasts, and I loved it. I was like, there's this whole world of people that I've never had access to before, and you get invested in people's stories as well.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Oh, it's amazing. And I found one podcast and it was this lady living in Bali and I sort of knew her through Instagram and she one week had a Frenchie consultant on, and the host was living in Bali and she was single, and the feng shui lady said, well, you know. You can use feng shui to help attract a partner into your life. If you do these things in your home, this can help you open, you know, open the energy up to receiving a partner into your life.

Speaker 3:

Uhhuh

Kimberly Gallagher:

and I remember so vividly, I was like vacuuming our bedroom at the time.'cause that was not the only thing to do. Yeah. And I remember thinking, what a load of rubbish, like how, how can you move stuff around your home? And you meet a partner. And that was literally it. I listened to it and I was like, yeah, it's quite fun. But you know. And then two weeks later, the host came back on and she was like, I've met somebody. And bearing in mind she'd been single for like 18 months. And so it wasn't like she just had this string of, you know, people around and it wasn't the right person. So I think when you're putting your intentions out there, it's really important to be crystal clear on what it is that you're putting out there. But she still met somebody. I thought, wow. It's just a coincidence, isn't it? It's just a massive coincidence. Uhhuh. So I did some Googling and I found that some of the world's most successful people incorporate some aspects of Feng shui into their lives, whether it's Richard Branson, whether it's Oprah, whether it's the Beckhams, whether it's, you know, mad Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, whoever. Mm-hmm. And whatever you think of them. They've still been quite successful. And I think it was Richard Branson that really struck me the most because he's a family man. He's a very successful businessman. You don't hear pe, you know, you hear people saying when they work for him, like how amazing he is as a boss. Yes, I've heard that. And yeah, and I just thought. Well, then I got angry because I thought, well, why do they know about this? And I don't, like, I'm at home trying to start a business now online on Instagram. Like I've just turned 40 and I'm, you know, dancing to reels on Instagram. What on earth am I doing trying to, I wanna know what they're doing. And they're, you know, probably having a nice time on Necker Island over lockdown really. I then continued my search and realized that a lot of hotels around the world ha incorporate Feng sre. So water fountains, for example, bring in wealth, prosperity, and abundance if they're placed in the right position. And if you think of many hotels around the world, many shopping centers, many airports, even a lot of them have these water fountains strategically placed to bring calm and to bring abundance. And again, I was like, well. So true. I think about it and I don't, so then I contacted the Feng shui lady that was on the, the podcast, and I was like, whatever you do, I want you to do it on my home. Mm-hmm. And. What Feng shui is, it's like acupuncture for the home. So it looks at like an energy reading on your home. It finds where the energy blocks are. So I dunno if you've ever had acupuncture, but you know, yes, I

Speaker 3:

have. It's,

Kimberly Gallagher:

um, they just literally hold onto your pulse and they're like, oh, well your little toe isn't doing very well. Your liver and side of your brain needs fixing just from like your pulse reading, Uhhuh. It makes no sense whatsoever. And that's what this feng shui analysis does. We, we use this ancient numerology to work out the energetic blueprint of your home, and we work out where these blocks are according to this year's energy. So we look at this year and go, okay, what's happening? Let's fix it. And we fix it using the five elements. Again, my logical brain was going, makes no sense. And we use. Metal, water, fire, earth and wood. Okay. I was like, I've just gotta go with it. Like, what have I got to lose? I am at home, business isn't working, I'm just going to go with it. I'm gonna throw myself into it. Okay. So we put these home in specific areas. Mm-hmm. And feng shui is like the missing piece of the manifestation puzzle. It clears the energy in your home. And so. There are some people in the world where they just think of something and you know, it magically appears on their doorstep and that's amazing.

Anne Vryonides:

I wanna learn those secrets. No, I know.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Me too. Me too. And then there's some people like me. You had all of the post-it notes next to her bathroom window. I was, I read somewhere that you burnt them on a full moon. So I burnt the post-it notes on a full moon and then I read You Buried the Post-it notes. So I buried the post-it notes and on a full moon, whatever it was. And my poor husband was just going, what? Im just gonna go with it.'cause it's tough times for everybody.

Anne Vryonides:

Whatcha doing

Kimberly Gallagher:

right. Well, totally. Like I'm just gonna, you know, just hide in here. So. What it does is that some homes just have this heavy energy above it, and it's a bit like trying to make a phone call in a really densely wooded area. You have the tools to make that phone call, but your message simply isn't getting out there into the universe.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

Kimberly Gallagher:

And so what Feng does in your house, you're trying to manifest, your message isn't getting out to the universe. If you've got this heavy energy. So what it does is it clears the energy in your home and it uses your energy and your home's energy to then push that intention out there to the universe. So when you add these remedies to your home, you add your intention. Oh, that's

Anne Vryonides:

great.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Yeah. And for me, I was, I get it. Like that makes sense. I can imagine this energy lifting, I can imagine my intentions going out there. And I thought, right, I'm just going to loosen off on these manifestations because I was like, I'm gonna make this much money. I need to sell this many products. Like, and I was really digging down on it.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

Kimberly Gallagher:

I thought, right. I'm just gonna open it up and say, do you know what? I want any business. I want any business where I love what I do. That I can work from anywhere around the world, because at the time I was in the UK and I knew we were moving to Australia. Mm-hmm. That I wanted to be financially independent and not just financially independent. That I wanted to be able to sail our family ship by myself if we needed to. Mm. I wanted to help people. I wanted to work with beautiful souls around the world. And I put the remedies in, and then a month later I had an email from the lady who Feng showed my home to say that she was running her last ever certification program. And would I be interested in doing it Up until that point, not in a million years had it ever crossed my mind to be a Feng Shui consultant. But I got that email and I literally sat down on the edge of the bed and I just got that gut feeling that this is what I need to do. And it wasn't an easy decision. It was a 10,000 American dollar course, like, and I did not have that money. Right. Um. And I just knew that it was for me, and as you can probably tell, it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made in my life.

Anne Vryonides:

Wow. So is there any other way that, because you hired the Feng Swei expert, she came in, she did some remedies in your home. She's

Kimberly Gallagher:

all online, so it was all completely remotely.

Anne Vryonides:

Yeah. Okay. Alright. And so then what positive impact did that have other than you getting the inspiration to become a Feng shui expert yourself?

Kimberly Gallagher:

The sort of palpable stuff that you could feel in the house was that the stress levels dropped. And this is like quite an important thing to say, like Feng shui isn't about these big bangs of, this amazing thing happened. That amazing thing happened, Uhhuh, it allows this flow of positivity to come into world. Now, don't get me wrong, I've had a client that's won a house. Like there's not, and you, you know, like there's a, like she just won a house and a class that wind cruises and you know, wow. All of these things. She is incredible. Tax rebates and all of these lovely things, but the thing that means the most is when the energy in the home clears and people start to get on better, that their relationships improve. For us, the stress levels dropped. The sense of humor came back again. That. Connection between us came back again, we weren't operating as three individuals. We were coming back together, and I think that's what Feng Shui does. It clears this noise, and I think the only thing that I can. We, a lot of us can relate it to is, you know, when you go on holiday. Mm-hmm. And most hotels are designed in a way to bring connection. They have these sanctuary principles in mind. So you go away with your loved one, with your family, and you feel that connection. You feel that noise go. You have that clarity, like how often do you go away? And you come up with all these amazing creative ideas and all of these things that you're going to do is because you don't have that. Mental sort of clutter noise around you that you have in your home. It's a clear space, and so what Feng shui does, it creates this clear space in your home to allow the creativity, the wealth, the love, the job, all of it to be able to. Come to you and it's, it's almost like your house can feel like it's suffocating. I mean, my job would be so much easier if you could see energy,

Speaker 3:

right?

Kimberly Gallagher:

Yes, I agree. Purple energy over there, that is not helping you. We need to get rid of that and this lovely energy we want to sort of spread around the house. That would be much easier. Right? But if you think like the energy in your home. You can tell if, if I said to you like, what's your home? Does your home have a personality? Like, just think about the personality of your home. Is it fun, lighthearted, sense of humor, open to new opportunities? Or is it chaotic? Stubborn doesn't like change. Um, sort of stands there with its hands on its hips and it's like, oh, no one's gonna have any fun in this house. Right. And I think. Thinking about your home, having a personality will give you an idea as to what sort of energy you've got at the minute, and that you, my biggest mission is to educate people that you can change, that you can change the feeling in your

Anne Vryonides:

home. Wow, that's amazing. So I'm, I'm sure everyone is nodding their head like, yes. Tell me more. So if someone wanted to incorporate feng shui, just like on a small, simple scale. Yeah. What room or what would you suggest just for a beginner to really kind of maybe experience a different energy or an energetic flow enough that they would be like, yes, I need to hire someone.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Of course. So there's so much stuff that you can do by yourself. Like there are some homes that you can do the smallest of things and it will make the biggest of difference. And there's some homes that are just, they, you know, send in the big guns like, and they're the types of houses don't like, you know, I am not moving, I will not be new. So whatever you do, it's not gonna work. But for some homes it's amazing. So it's worth trying. So what we want to do is to start realizing that there is an energy or we need an energy flow in the home. And it doesn't matter if you live in an apartment or you live in a, you know, a five story beautiful townhouse, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

Kimberly Gallagher:

We still want this flow of energy and the front door. So if you live in a house, it'll be your entrance door, like your front door door. If you live in a condo or unit apartment, your front door will be your balcony, like your view window. So think of your. I mean, Feng shui just likes to make things confusing. Like you can't even work out what your front door is. So the front door in feng shui is like the face of your home. So where all of its characteristics are like where this lovely energy is coming to. Like if you were going to say hello to like somebody's face, hello to your house, which side would you go and say hi to? Okay, so your front door is where the good energy is coming in, and your back door is where we want to release. The, you know, out with the old in with the new. So it'll be your back door in the house. If you're in an apartment, it'll be the entrance door where you come into your condo and then your front door is the big one. So first of all, start off by opening the back door and intentionally just getting rid of the stale and stagnant energy. Just keep thinking out with the old, in with the new. And then I want you to then go to your front door or your apartment. Well, like windows. This is where the good energy is coming in. Mm-hmm. And just stand there and think, can the energy actually get in? Like, how hard does it have to work to get in? So do you open the windows? Do you open the door If you are in a house, if. How clear is that entrance hallway? So you want the good energy to come in, but is it full with shoes, with coats, with bags? Like is it a cluttered area, which quite often it is because the ease of life having stuff at the front door, it, it makes sense because then you collect your stuff as you go out. But what's happening is that energy may be getting stuck or it can't get past it. So we want to clear the hallway. I'm not saying you have to put it, you know completely out of the way, but even having shoe racks with lids on to put your shoes on so that energy can be sealed inside. Coats we used to, in our hallway, like we made, we put a coat hook on the back of our downstairs toilet door. So actually then the coats went on there rather than in the entrance. So you want this lovely energy to come through. Okay. And every day just think about circulating this energy around. So that's the first thing that I want people to just start thinking about. Also, have a chat with your home as well. Like when, when we move into a house, we, we have a feeling and we connect with the feeling into that home. So whether you are renting or whether you are buying it, you go round and you will choose it based on a feeling. As soon as we move in. We start just being really practical. So the kitchen is where we cook. The living room is where we sit and watch tv. The bedroom is where we sleep and we forget that we have that feeling. And so it's about reconnecting with your home and building your relationship with it. And I know it sounds bonkers, but. Just having a chat with your home, like introduce yourself to it. Say thank you for it, looking after you. Like in our old, we've just moved, but like in our old home, Uhhuh, it's survived a cyclone. Like thank it for looking, you know, looking after you through these crazy times. So I think that's the first thing to do. And then if you then want to take it to the next step. In feng shui, we divide the home into nine different areas. And so this is when you start really getting into the nitty gritty because each of these nine areas looks after net, an area of your life. Okay. And so when you can start thinking, okay, let's look, say for example at your finances. Mm-hmm. So this, there's many schools of feng shui, and the school that I practice is called Flying Stars Feng Shui, which. The, I mean, I didn't know this before I started learning about it, is the most complex and most advanced form of feng shui. Brilliant. We

Anne Vryonides:

gonna dive right in?

Kimberly Gallagher:

No. Yeah, yeah. I came for a penny and for a pound we're gonna do this. And what it means is that we use the actual compass. So some schools of Feng Swei just go, oh, well, the far left, the far right, and the front, like, we'll just go with that.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Whereas I use the actual compass and it means then that this is. It's specific to your home, and it's the difference between like following an online nutrition, an exercise plan for, you know, generic that you've just pulled up, or whether you've had your bloods done and your, you know, your everything done is to work out what is going to work for you specifically. Okay? So what you can do is get your phone. There's Compass on your phone and stand in the middle of your home. Take your jewelry off so that it's not going to sort of change the magnets on your, on your phone, okay? And pivot around inner circle until you find the southeast and it points in the southeast direction. We ignore walls. We just walk as far as we can in that direction and that will take you to the southeast. And it's not just a tiny corner. It's probably like your arm span or two arm spans, like size. It's not just this little corner.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Kimberly Gallagher:

And that is looking after your wealth, prosperity, and abundance. So all of these areas look after a part of our life, and so therefore, in each of these areas and the wealth, I'm just going to give a specific example. Okay? We want to make sure that it's not cluttered. Because again, we are thinking this energy. We want the energy to be able to move around it. If you feel that your life is going round in circles, your financial woes are going round in circles, it could be that no fresh energy is actually being allowed to enter and move around the southeast of your home so we clear it. Anything that's broken or cracked could also be giving an energy of. There's like a, a, a chink in the armor. Like there's, there's this energy likes to flow really smoothly, and if it's sort of tripping up over something, okay, then it could be that energy. We want this smooth flow around a. Unfortunately, artificial flowers are a bit of a no. I say they're a bit of a no-no. They are a no-no in feng shui.

Anne Vryonides:

Okay. That's good to know. I know,

Kimberly Gallagher:

I know. And it's such a controversial topic because I know they're really expensive, and I know they can look beautiful, but what we want is life and energy in feng shui. We don't want stagnant energy and artificial flowers bring this stagnant energy. We want growth. Okay. And so, okay. Having real flowers and real plants is going to bring this growth. And then the sort of adding this, almost like this missing part of the manifestation puzzling there, we want to use these areas as specific spaces for visual affirmations. So almost like your vision board. So in the southeast, what do you want in your wealth world? And does that represent what's happening? So is it chaotic? Is it messy? Is it a bit old and could do with a bit of a revamp, but most importantly. Just adding pictures in there, that means wealth to you. So for me, I have pictures of us going on holiday. Okay. Because going on holiday means that we have the time and we have the finances to be able to go away. So I have those pictures in my Southeast. So that's how you can just start to. Just use your home and the energy in your home to help you bring your intentions to life.

Anne Vryonides:

Okay. Well, for example, in my southeast corner is my kitchen, and the very southeast corner is my pantry. So I have my pantry in the corner, and then I have two windows. So I used to have a money tree in there, but then the money tree wasn't growing very well. But I also did some other, you know, feng shui things in what I thought was the money corner of my, my bedroom. But that didn't work. So what do you do if you can't hang a picture. I mean, do I just clean out the tower and do I put things in there just in case someone else has that situation where. You can't really do a lot.

Kimberly Gallagher:

We're always gonna have areas. So in our home in England, it was our downstairs toilet was our southeast, and then Oh wow. The spare room. Oops. I know. And the spare room, which was like our dumping room. So you can imagine how quickly I cleared the dumping room when I found that out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. But you've

Kimberly Gallagher:

just got to make the most of the space. So for example, like your pantry. I'm not saying you like me, but I probably have four, you know, outdated cin, cinnamon jars in there and star anise that I bought once because I was making, I dunno, some molded wine or something like that,

Speaker 3:

right? So.

Kimberly Gallagher:

It's about making sure that everything in there is in date, it's tiny energy can move around. Like do you use everything or have you got some, you know, panko breadcrumbs that's in, you know, at the back that you've not used the making sure that it. It is, is it is got to be user friendly, but we try and make it as luxurious as possible. So if it is in your pantry, like, and I don't want you to spend a fortune, but you can go to Target, you can go and get those. You know when you see people posting pictures of their pantry and you're like, oh, I've got pantry, empty

Speaker 3:

Yes stars.

Kimberly Gallagher:

And the stickers like use that the southeast of your home because then what you are bringing in is sort of more orderly. Fashion may be into your wealth, which then, you know, if your pantry is not orderly, that may be what's happening in your finances and just do the best that you can. But what I would do is. There's always like a second option in feng shui, okay. For like another area. So the north is your career and business. So therefore I would look at your north and go, well, that's probably where my money's coming from as well. So let's look at both of those areas and what is it in my career that I'm trying to call in? Something aspirational, for example, in the north of your home as to where you want to go with your career can also help those finances.

Anne Vryonides:

Okay, that's great. So if someone like me has limitations as to what they could put there, they could just like organize it, make sure that it's as tidy as, as clean as as possible. So that's great advice. Yeah.

Kimberly Gallagher:

I mean, thank Brenda Fortune. Like in our downstairs, Lou like. I just like put some fluffy towels and a nice hand soap. Like, it's so nice when you go to a place and you're like, oh, this handset. So, you know, it smells lovely and little b tea lights and little, um, glass holders. So it just, it just looked pretty and I just took care of it. It, it makes you think, okay, is this just a storage space and just a room that I use? Or is it a room that I like being in? Mm-hmm. And it represents what I want to bring into my life.

Anne Vryonides:

Okay. So what was an example when you saw tangibly that Feng shui worked? Like maybe it was a client, or for you personally that you made these energetic adjustments and you're like, oh my gosh, this really truly works.

Kimberly Gallagher:

I think. Even just my own experience really. So I officially started my business in November, 2024, and in the February, so right at the beginning of February, I was contacted by this morning. So the the Breakfast show in the uk. To be their Feng Way expert within three months of me launching the business. And wow, that was incredible. And then they asked for my products to go in, and then they asked me back in the April, and then we moved to Australia in June. And I think what it's done for me in the success of my business is that it's. It's brought the right people to help me at the right time. So for example, the people that have designed my website and my branding team, they, I've not had to go through three different people to find the right people. I've used them right from the, you know, right from the beginning. The people that help me with my marketing the same right from the beginning. The people like we. Um, our recent house move, we had an offer and moved within two weeks. Wow. Which, which again is just, you know, it is both crazy and unbelievable. So we had someone come and look around and like, yeah, we want to move in, uh, but we wanna move in in two weeks. So we're like, okay, uh, let's just see what we can do with this house that we like as well. So the whole process happened, you know, within two weeks. And that's just, that's just my story. I had. A lady emailed me yesterday to say that she'd been paying too much council tax for the last 12 months and the council contacted her, which in England is like unheard of. Um, and they gave her a rebate of 2000 pounds because she'd been paying like more than that. People that have had dream jobs, people that have found partners, people that have had fertility issues and it's helped them, you know? Wow. That's amazing. Crazy into the world, you know, it's, um, it's truly amazing how it can help people in their lives and, it makes you believe that good things should be happening. Like, yes, awful things happen. I wish I could stop the rubbish stuff happening in life. I really do. But what it does is that it supports you in everything that you do and everything that happens in life. So you can see that there is a path ahead of you, and you're not just stuck in this sort of cycle as to where you are now.

Anne Vryonides:

Okay, great. So were you really good at manifestation before and then this just kind of accelerated it, or,

Kimberly Gallagher:

I'm terrible at manifestation. I had those post-it notes, like it just, it did not work. It was not working. My business that I had, that I started in lockdown for seven months. I'm, I'm barely made a hundred pounds a month from doing it. Like I was, it, it was just not something that I could do. And you know, now. What I've learned to do is open up those manifestations and I think sometimes people manifest with manifestations. Think, oh, I don't know what I'm doing, or you know, just, I just say. I speak to my house, like, show me. Show me how. Mm-hmm. I can, and this is what I say every day. Show me how I can share the magic of FEI with as many people around the world as possible. Thank you. And the way that that comes to me, like I had the literary agent from my book, she came to me and was. Can you believe that? The beginning of the year I said that I wanted to work on a Feng Shu book, and I've just seen you, on tv. I was like, oh, I didn't even know that literary agents were a thing. Um. But you know, we had to contact over 20 publishers before one said yes, Uhhuh. But I do believe that that was part of the process because I've probably written the book about five times now, and so it's much better than what it was before. So, you know, all of these things unfold. But no, I was terrible at manifesting terrible.

Anne Vryonides:

Well, that's a beautiful in intention that you set every day. That is incredible. So if people, like, let's say, for example, couldn't afford your services, where could they start out, like maybe with your book and then get some good energy going and then from there, then they would manifest the money to hire you to come in and do their entire

Speaker 3:

house hire?

Kimberly Gallagher:

Totally like not everybody's in this situation. And that's the whole reason why I wanted to write the book, because I wanted Feng shui to be accessible to everybody. And Feng shui has been a huge secret for thousands of years to the point where. Masters. You know, 4,000 years ago they had two apprentices working for them, and they told one of them the truth and they told one of them lies. And so therefore, but nobody knew who had the truth and who didn't. So therefore, this, uh, this beautiful practice was sort of filtered down and down and down and down. So it's been so mystical that people didn't really know what was going on. And then now because of communication. We've been able to communicate with each other and say, right, this works, this works. This week works. And everything that I put in that book is everything that I have done. And so I know it works. And there's a chapter on selling your home. And I, you know, as I said, we sold and moved in two weeks. Wow. So it's everything that I do. And so my book is called The Calm and Happy Home. And it is available on the 11th of November in America and in the UK and, on Amazon and Barnes and Noble that you have over in the States. Um, and that would be a, a wonderful place to start. But if you are not in a position to, to purchase the book, I also have my podcast, the, the Feng flow. And also on Instagram, the Feng flow, if you want to follow me on there. And there's plenty. I do a weekly q and a as well, so I want to give as much away for free as I possibly can.

Anne Vryonides:

Oh, that's amazing. So, um, I will definitely put all your links down in the show notes, so that is great. Awesome. Is there, any last advice that you'd like to share about Feng shui and how it has really transformed your life, or what surprised you about Feng shui that you weren't expecting?

Kimberly Gallagher:

I think my sort of motto at the moment that came to me a couple of weeks ago is that you can change your life by changing the energy in your home, and I think Feng shui can be the answer to the questions that you don't know the answers to yet, whether it's finding a new job, new love, more love. Moving how like it can help you with all aspects of your life. And I think what often happens with, holistic wellness, for example, you don't go to acupuncture straight away. Well, I didn't, you try all this sort of more normal if you like roots. Even like with my back, like you go to the doctor and you're like, I haven't been able to move my shoulder for, however long. And they go, oh well. You know, take this, go and do that. Well, that doesn't work. I'll go and have a massage. Well, that doesn't work. And then I found a chiropractor in acupuncture and I'm like, ah, this is amazing. And I think that's what beng shui is like. You, you, like I was, you know, you try and get a new job, you apply for lots and lots of jobs, and you put yourself in that position, then you get stressed about it and you don't realize that then you're coming from a place of, of lack, like, why haven't I got this job? You know, that sort of thing. And I think what I just. What I didn't realize when I went into Feng shui is that it can help quite literally in all aspects of your life, for children, for adults, and for anything that you, if you feel stuck, then almost, you know, what's the worst that can happen?

Anne Vryonides:

Right.

Kimberly Gallagher:

Right.
